Product changes
From early 2007 there will be some important and exciting revisions to the Windcheetah range. February will see the introduction of the HyperSport Series . There are some fundamental changes to the specification and these will include the introduction of a new tail casting and revised derrailluer mount. The new units are based closely on the existing Windcheetah SuperSport units but are equipped with a titanium rear axle. The change has been introduced to make it much easier and faster to overhaul the rear axle assembly. The new-style derrailuer mount also provides more flexibility to adapt to the ever changing Shimano transmission systems and will allow a greater choice of aftermarket derrailluer fitments. Front axles will now be manufactured from the same high grade titanium as the rear unit. There are also a number of detail engineering changes to the HyperSport such as brake post revisions, pulley sizes and seat mounting. All these are designed to enhance reliability and ease of servicing.

ClubSport/SuperSport
The SuperSport is still available to special order for the Japanese market, but is discontinued for the rest of the world. From late Spring the ClubSport will feature some significant revisions to the engineering specification. The main change will be the move to a 2 piece main chassis section, based closely on the HyperSport, but featuring a light gauge aluminium front boom and chassis legs.

New Model news
Development is well under way on a completely new model ; The Windcheetah SportCompact. The SportCompact model has been developed in conjuction with Mike Burrows and is a compact, small wheeled version of the Windcheetah featuring a 406 rear wheel and 16" fronts. Although aimed at all riders we envisage that its compact dimensions will appeal to commuters and owners who need to store their trike indoors. Initial production will be for the Japanese market only but will be rolled out to other markets later in the year.
